Educator Evening in the Fort Worth Cultural District

SEPTEMBER 17, 4–7 pm

A “back-to-school” Cultural District tradition, this annual collaborative event for teachers showcases school and teacher programs and resources offered by local cultural institutions for the 2015–16 school year. Staff from sixteen participating institutions will be on hand at these locations: the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, the Kimbell Art Museum, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.

Topics for Teachers 

Morning Session: 10 AM–NOON
Afternoon Session: 1:30–3:30 PM

Separate morning and afternoon sessions explore topics relating to the special exhibition Gustave Caillebotte: The Painter's Eye. Teachers may sign up for either or both sessions, which will feature thematic gallery tours, staff presentations, and studio-art activities.
