Parcel check

Parcel check is temporarily closed. Strollers and soft-front baby carriers are permitted.

Check your bulky items for free at our parcel check. Backpacks, umbrellas, and other large objects are not allowed in the galleries. For the safety of our visitors and the artworks on display strollers may not be permitted during periods of high visitation.  On these occasions stroller parking will be made available.

In the galleries

The gallery attendants are here both to protect the artworks and provide you with assistance.

Help us protect our collection by staying 12 inches away from artwork and not touching artworks, or cases.

We encourage you to sketch in the galleries with only pencils and avoid obstructing pathways for other visitors. We ask that parents or caregivers carry kids’ pencils or sketchbooks while walking through the galleries.

Please turn your cell phones to silent mode while in the galleries to help ensure an enjoyable museum experience for all.

Unscheduled lecturing to groups is not permitted. Learn more about guided tours here.

Photography is welcome

Personal non-flash photography is encouraged in most special exhibitions and within the Kimbell’s collection galleries, unless otherwise noted. Look on signs and art work wall labels to determine where photography is not permitted.
