Studio Five 90

Open-format sessions mingle art-making and varied gallery activities to encourage fresh ways of looking at and responding to featured artworks and themes.

Free; advance registration is not required. Space is limited to 25 teen and adult participants. Sign up at the entrance to the education studios in the Renzo Piano Pavilion, beginning one hour before the program. Please click here to view upcoming sessions.

Come hang out at the Kimbell! Informal pop-up programs, run by teens for teens, offer bite-sized chunks of Kimbell Teen Night excitement throughout the year. No registration needed; just come for the fun!

Kimbell Teen Night

SATURDAY June 12-16, 2:30-4:30 PM

Designed by teens for teens, this annual event features fun and creative ways to enjoy the Museum through gallery experiences, art-making, music, food, and many more surprises. High school ID or equivalent required for entry.

Teen Artist Workshop

MONDAY–FRIDAY, June 12–16, 1–4 PM            

New York/Dallas-based artist Michelle Mackey will lead this five-day studio-art immersion program. Participants will explore new ways of looking at, talking about, and creating art inspired by paintings in the special exhibition A Modern Vision: European Masterpieces from the Phillips Collection­­­­. A light, midafternoon snack will be provided. The materials fee for the camp is $200 ($160 for members). Space is limited; to register, call 817-332-8451, ext. 351.
